I grew up in an University setting in New England and was brought up on music, the arts, literature and spirituality.

It started with the purchase of a point & shoot. I graduated to numerous 35mm film SLRs, then to a medium format 120mm film camera and eventually digital. I would spend the days shooting and the nights reliving, developing and sharpening the craft.

My love of photography grew and flourished unchecked by rules. This led me to the creation of abstractfoto: a self propelled dream that drives toward art while pushing the creative limits.
